I received this announcement - in English - through several of our members who had been contacted by Yo Opino.
This broadcast was issued as a result of the internal meeting Yo Opino held on 29/10/2022.
We are not affiliated with Yo Opino/"AA. VV. Camping La Manga".
The original Owners Association is also not affiliated with this group.
Their message is below, written in italics.
"A new association of owners has been formed, called AA. VV Camping La Manga.
The group is solely for owners who want to fight for their homes and Parcellas.
It is separate from Capfun and the campsite administration and will act solely in the interests of the owners.
It is made up of all the nationalities who have joined the group.
The group already has an independent Spanish solicitor and Architect who will fight for the owners.
They informed the group that the owners are a separate entity from Capfun and therefore need to form an association of owners in order to protect our properties and rights within them.
The solicitor is already preoparing documents to present to the Town Hall and go to court for our rights as land owners within the site.
As a group we need to pay for our legal rights and representation.
The fee will be €200 payable in monthly amounts of €50 per month starting from November.
No money is payable yet as the association is still being set up and everything to do with it will be completely legal and transparent.
The Solicitor has informed the group that we have far more rights as landowners than we think, unless we fight for them we will lose them.
