The original message
On 22/05/2025 the New Owners' Association issued a rather short notice with a very concerning warning, which rapidly spread over the entire site.
The original message was published in Spanish, English, French, German and Italian, and read the following:
"THE CARTAGENA COUNCIL TO EXECUTE THE IMMINENT CLOSURE OF THE CAMPING VILLAS CARAVANING, for next week.
We recommend to our members that during the week of May 26, SOMEONE ALWAYS REMAIN ON OUR PLOTS.
UNITY WILL MAKE US STRONG.

- The Original Owners' Association said they are looking into this situation, and will issue a formal statement when they have all the necessary information.
- The site director did not wish to discuss the matter in detail when she was contacted; she did, however, organise a meeting for all parcela owners, so management could provide more information regarding this incident to everyone (please see below).

The press mentioned the message going around and the panic it caused, and claims it only affects CapFun cabins and toilet blocks - it supposedly does not mean the site is closing.

Owners Meeting
Site management has organised a meeting for all owners on 27/05/2025 (Tuesday) at 17:00pm., and it is to be held at the kids' entertainment stage, between the main pool and the tennis courts.
This is not an AGM: it's merely to inform all private plot owners of the state of affairs.
Right now, there is no indication as to what, exactly, will be discussed.
